NoiseRhythmLanguage (2022)

Sound Performance

Project by Carlotta Borcherding, Emilia Vogt, Friederike Weber, Reni Hofmüller, Vererena Steining,
NoiseRhythmLanguage is a collective experimental sound performance of sounds, rhythms and language, created by recordings from our immediate surroundings. The sounds are arranged in a system governed by noises, rhythm and speech, creating a unique performance based on different sound patterns. The work reflects an atmosphere of a certain place, time and feeling. The sound is based on recordings, which can include everyday sounds, emotions, and public or private spaces or experiences. The performance thus creates a unique atmospheric composition based on our interpretation of language, sounds and rhythms.
